In this edition of Insights, we ask Nan Robertson, chair of the Lecturers Committee, and a sheep and cattle farmer how she became involved in the art world. Nan has a well-known garden and we learn how closely art, gardens and mental well-being are intertwined. We also highlight some of the interesting exhibitions occurring around Australia and introduce Susannah Fullerton, an ArtsNational lecturer and literary blogger. What does the Tighe’s Hill School of Arts have to do with the ICOMOS Burra Charter? In this story we show how important our work in recording our Schools of Arts is to Australia’s cultural heritage. Read how despite not being able to get together, we are still supporting the Young Arts in many locations and in many ways as Yarra and Central Victoria demonstrate.
